3 Things We Do Before Every Single Shoot (Steal These)

Most content fails before the camera is even switched on. The shoot is the easy bit. The prep is where it's won or lost.

First, we write the hook before anything else. Not the script, the hook. If the first three seconds don't earn the next three, the rest doesn't matter, so we start there and work backwards.

Second, we shoot near a window. Natural light flatters skin, product and texture in a way ring lights struggle to match, and it costs nothing. Third, we film far more than we need. Ten takes of a five second moment, because the best one is rarely the first one.
